The Choir Series

Discover the 100th anniversary Radio Choir – both a cappella and together with guest artists and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra – and be captivated by the choir’s sounds; from heavenly delicate to brutally powerful, sometimes balancing on the edge of what is possible to achieve with the human voice.

The choir series begins during the Baltic Sea Festival where you will meet the Radio Choir’s new principal guest conductor Krista Audere, followed by the choir’s Anniversary Concert which mixes newly composed music with glimpses from the choir’s 100 years. Additionally, the series includes concerts with DalaSinfoniettan and Västerås Sinfonietta, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, as well as both Brahms and Fauré’s Requiem. Choral art at the highest level is promised!
