A concert hall with great possibilities

From a renowned music venue to a prestigious conference address, Berwaldhallen is an excellent concert hall and ideal for congresses, annual general meetings, product launches, and conferences. We can accommodate 1300 guests for concerts and 900 for conferences, with spacious foyers for mingling and catering.

The adjustable podium offers great flexibility, and the stage can be adapted for everything from chamber concerts to large presentations or product launches. The sound system is of the highest quality, and we arrange contact with companies that provide lighting, sound, and AV equipment to ensure the technology matches the high quality of your event. Additionally, we have a fully equipped control room available for audio recording.

Flexible venues for all needs

Whether you are planning a large concert or a smaller corporate gathering, we have the flexibility. Our newly renovated foyers with stylish blue floors and chic decor can also be rented separately for meetings and exhibitions.

The concert hall has a maximum capacity of 1304 seats, including 6 wheelchair spaces (see seating plan).

Spacious stage area

The stage area measures a full 20x13.5x15 meters. The podium is adjustable in height, and there are also 43 stage risers that can be adjusted in height as needed. Behind the stage, there are several large dressing rooms, green rooms, and social areas with plenty of space for performers and guests.

Top-class security and sound

Berwaldhallen often hosts TV and radio recordings as well as events with high security requirements. We offer advanced sound and lighting equipment alongside a fully equipped control room for audio recording. The concert hall is equipped with lighting rigs for both moving and fixed lights. Additionally, the hall itself has unbeatable acoustics!

Catering and service

The restaurant Elwing & Co offers catering, and we have a staffed cloakroom as well as ushers. Our ticket staff will assist you with events that include ticket sales.

Frequently Asked Questions about renting Berwaldhallen

Can I sell tickets to my event?

All ticket sales are conducted through Berwaldhallen. Sales through parallel channels are not allowed. Berwaldhallen charges a 5% sales commission and 10 SEK per ticket.

What's included?

The basic rental includes chairs, music stands, one microphone, two stage technicians, basic security monitoring, and ushers in connection with and during the concert/event.

How can I get in touch?

In the email, please describe the event and specify the dates or periods you are interested in. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

Do you handle all the technical equipment?

We always have two staff members from Berwaldhallen's stage technology team on site during your visit. You are responsible for the preparation of the stage, but stage technicians are available to adjust riser heights, demonstrate and discuss stage possibilities, and provide technical support for the venue.

If needed, they will also handle a microphone and basic lighting, but if you are planning for, for example, vocal soloists, backing bands, or more advanced lighting, you should hire external technicians for this. We can facilitate contact with technicians who are well acquainted with our equipment.

How many can be seated in Berwaldhallen?

We have a total of 1,302 seats in the auditorium, of which 889 are in front of the stage, and 413 are above/behind the stage. There are 6 wheelchair spaces in the stalls, as well as 6 seats reserved for companions. See our seating plan for an overview.

Can I make a preliminary booking?

Yes, a preliminary booking can be made at no cost, and a final booking is made in agreement with Berwaldhallen. A preliminary booking can be made up to one year in advance. Contact us via email to make a preliminary booking.

Can I bring food and drinks to Berwaldhallen?

No. Berwaldhallen has a caterer who handles all food and beverage service on the premises. If you, as an organizer, need to order food and drinks for an event such as a mingle, this can be arranged through Elwing & Co.

May I bring my own signs and printed materials?

Brochures and program sheets related to your event will then be placed in the venue so that they do not interfere with the regular business's printed materials. The organizer must transport all materials away immediately after the event. Any leftover materials will be discarded or recycled

Can I sell merchandise at the venue?

Generally, it is permissible to sell merchandise in connection with your own event and with approval from Berwaldhallen. This takes place at a designated location. Note that Berwaldhallen does not provide payment solutions or staff for merchandise sales

I am collaborating with sponsors for my event, can they showcase their products during the event?

For public events, approval from Berwaldhallen is required before you can display your sponsors. This is necessary to ensure that the products or brands do not go against our guidelines. The organizer can, after approval from Berwaldhallen and during the ongoing event, set up roll-ups, sidewalk signs, etc., inside the venue in a way that does not damage walls, floors, or affect accessibility and evacuation routes.

The organizer must transport all materials away immediately after the event. Any leftover signs, printed materials, roll-ups, etc., will be discarded or recycled.

I want to use Berwaldhallen for photography?

ure! Here's the translation:

"Subject to availability, all or parts of Berwaldhallen's public areas can be rented for photography. Photography is then only allowed in public spaces; foyers, entrance, and concert hall.

The photography must be planned in such a way that regular activities can be carried out without interruption.

It is not allowed to photograph/film security solutions such as surveillance devices, access solutions, and card readers. It is also not allowed to photograph/film signs for server rooms, broadcasting technology, access cards, and ID cards. Orientation signs related to evacuation must not be visible in the picture. Employees at Berwaldhallen may not be photographed without special permission. The art in Berwaldhallen may appear in the background of pictures but must not be the focus of the image. Berwaldhallen's and Sveriges Radio's logos/brands must not be visible in the picture. Berwaldhallen may require prior review of pictures before publication.
