On Friday evenings, you are treated to larger orchestral or choral works with guest conductors, instrumentalists, and singers of the highest caliber, performing with the Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Radio Choir. The evening concerts are about two hours long with an intermission and start at 7:00 PM.

In the bar, you can order a delicious snack and something to drink, both before the concert and during the intermission. The series features masterful music by Brahms and Mahler with the Radio Symphony Orchestra’s new principal guest conductor Maxim Emelyanychev, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Janine Jansen in Prokofiev’s beloved violin concerto, as well as Mozart’s iconic Requiem.

Top quality concerts. I like that they are prebooked, so even if we are tired on a Friday after the week, we still get out of the house and enjoy a wonderful evening.
