Your safe visit

Does Berwaldhallen have a bag ban?

No, but backpacks, bags, purses larger than 30 x 20 cm (approx. an A4 sheet) and larger outerwear are not allowed into the salon. You can leave them in a staffed cloakroom for a fee of 30 SEK, or hang them for free in one of our unstaffed cloakrooms.

Why are bag checks and searches carried out at the entrance?

In Berwaldhallen, bag searches and security checks are carried out to create a safe environment for everyone who visits or works in the venue. Please leave larger bags at home for easier entry and to avoid queues.

We ask that you also have your ticket ready when you arrive. Berwaldhallen opens two hours before the concert/performance – we recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the concert starts. It is important that our concerts start at the scheduled time as they are often broadcast on the radio.

Why does Berwaldhallen have security guards?

Due to increased unrest in the world and as part of Swedish Radio, we have increased security in the form of security guards. This way, we can provide both visitors and employees with safety in our premises.

I feel ill – what should I do?

If you think you are coming down with something, we ask that you stay home to reduce the risk of infection. Please contact us at least 24 hours before the concert starts, or no later than 4:00 PM on the next preceding non-holiday weekday for weekend concerts, and we can change your ticket purchase to a gift certificate (minus a fee of 25 SEK /cancelled ticket). It can be used within two years for any performance in Berwaldhallen – even those of external organisers.
