Sound and fury

Drawing on Shakespeare’s Macbeth and Haydn’s sixtieth symphony, Anna Clyne has written Sound and Fury: by her own admission a musical journey both invigorating and reflective. Conductor Riccardo Minasi, on his first concert in Berwaldhallen, performs Clyne’s dramatic work as well Haydn’s sixtieth symphony, nicknamed Il Distratto, and Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. The concert will be broadcasted on Berwaldhallen Play January 15 at 7 pm.
