Beethoven's Missa Solemnis
Beethoven's Missa solemnis is one of classical music's most magnificent spiritual works – a monumental creation where heartfelt prayer meets dramatic power. When the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Choir, and the Eric Ericson Chamber Choir unite under the direction of conductor Petr Popelka, this powerful mass is given new life in Berwaldhallen. With four outstanding soloists and one of Beethoven's most visionary scores, a concert awaits that unites the sublime, the human and the deeply comforting in a single overwhelming musical moment.
