Broman & Mendelssohn
Last summer Malin Broman, concertmaster of the Swedish Radio Orchestra, did an unforgettable performance of Mendelssohn’s String Octet Op. 20 at the Berwaldhallen Play – playing all eight parts by herself. See the concert Malin Broman x 8 here. Now she is back, leading the Swedish Radio Orchestra in Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 1. The concert also includes Einojuhani Rautavaaras neoclassical A Requiem in Our Time for brass and percussion and Geoffrey Emerson’s brass arrangement of Edvard Grieg’s touching Sörgemarsj over Rikard Nordraak.

Regarding Chromecast via iPhone
You can use Chromecast for the broadcasts on Berwaldhallen Play from computers and Android phones, but not if you play the concert from Apple’s iPhone. This is due to built-in limitations in the iPhone. If you want to see our concerts on a TV and have an iPhone, Apple’s own transfer technology (AirPlay) via an Apple TV works well.
